I went to Matheson Hammock on whim looking for something of which to take a photo. There wasn’t much except for this sunset casting a beautiful yellow and orange glow over the park. I took several photos but either the sun was blown out or the lifeguard stand was in silhouette.

Here is when I attempted what may be my first successful exposure bracketing stack. I was suprised this worked. It was done handheld! Without the tripod, I assumed it would not have worked. I took 5 photos at different exposures holding my breath the entire time to keep the camera as still as possible.

And you can see the result. I am just as surprised as you are.
